My gardening style is inspired in no small part by the county I grew up in...

...I fell in love with nature amongst the rolling green hills, tranquil valleys and wild, windswept heaths of my native Shropshire. As an organic gardener, I try to bring a little of this to all the gardens I work in - working with nature to help create spaces both people and wildlife love to be in.

I am Nancy Lowe - an RHS qualified gardener, but originally trained as an environmental scientist, specialising in ecology and conservation management. I further developed my gardening skills through volunteering for a number of organic and permaculture projects throughout the UK. In 2009, after studying and training in permaculture, I set up the Oak House Permaculture Project, converting a concrete covered farmyard into a productive wildlife garden. As well this ecological, horticultural and permaculture training, I am an ardent follower of the regenerative growing techniques currently being developed in the United States as a way to bring our land into full and vibrant health. As anyone who knows me will tell you, I love what I do! I am based near Shrewsbury and provide organic gardening services in Shrewsbury and the surrounding area, with new online services being offered nationwide.
